But the value on this one is just not here.Unless you have a router that you absolutely dont want to give up, if i did it again, id put the money to a router with above table adjustment. I love add-ons such as this, ones that add function. It will get the job done but.eh.I bought this for quite less than full price, but still find it unworthy.(And it does fit the Ridgid R2930 just fine, still i use the built in above table adjustment on it).
I installed it on an older Hitachi TR in conjunction w/the Xtreme Xtension. There are absolutely no negatives. This is one cool tool with a fair price.
My plate is 8" X 11" and there are no other router lifts this size I could find. I also purchased the Xtreme Extension made by Router Technologies.
Any questions or problems you have are answered quickly. I am using a Dewalt DW625 router and this set up works perfectly.
I am able to easily change bits above the table without a wrench. The best of all is the customer service provided by Bob at Router Technologies.
I have been looking for a router lift for my existing router plate for some time. With help from Bob at Router Technologies the Router Raizer was easy to install in my existing plate and works great.
I highly recomend both the Router Raizer and the Xtreme Extension.
After purchasing this item, reading the instructions completely and understanding them I decided I didnt want to screw up my router with drilling it out etc. I bought a Woodpeck lift instead and sold the Raizer on ebay.
Bob said he had never fitted a Ridgid and invited me to his shop to investigate. Talk about great customer service.
I would give it 10 stars if I could The adjustmets are smooth and percise.
It works perfect in or out of the router table. If your looking to add percision to your plunge base for free hand routing install one.
I called the owner to ask if it would work in a Ridgid R2900 plunge base router. He took one look and had one installed in less than 15 minutes.
The router raizer is defentially the way to take full advantage of a router table.
